Apple Inc Expands Supplier Network in India
Apple Inc is strengthening its supply chain in
India by engaging with local manufacturers. Wipro
Enterprises (P) Ltd and LMW Ltd are the latest
companies in discussions to join the iPhone
maker’s growing list of suppliers. The discussions
are progressing at different stages, with Apple
Inc reportedly in advanced negotiations with Wipro
Enterprises, while initial talks are underway with
LMW. Apple Inc is strengthening its supply chain
in India.

India’s Auto Component Exports See
Strong Growth
According to a report by the Automotive Component
Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and
Boston Consulting Group (BCG), auto component
exports stood at $21.2 billion in FY24. This marks
a turnaround from a $2.5 billion trade deficit in
FY19 to a $ 300 million surplus. The report
highlights that India could add another $ 40-60
billion in exports.

India Sees Record-Breaking M&A Deal Activity in
February
India witnessed a surge in deal activity in
February, recording 226 mergers, acquisitions
(M&A), and private equity (PE) deals worth US$ 7.2
billion, according to Grant Thornton Bharat’s
Dealtracker report. This marks the highest monthly
deal volume in three years, reflecting a 67
percent increase in transactions and a 5.4-fold
increase in deal values compared to Feb 2024.
